Haiti poses a lot of challenges when it comes to electronics. Late last year after an ant infestation in my old camera that left it not worth fixing (still get shivers thinking about it!) Chris told me to find something to replace it. I decided that if I was getting a new to me camera then I needed to finally do the work of learning how to use it out of Auto, and it’s been a fun process so far. I have so much to learn, but as I play around I can see that I lean more towards portraiture, especially those moments where a look or an expression is caught. I’m also a sucker for good light.
